On 22 August 2026, Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park - Aurora IP welcomed a delegation from Can Tho City, together with leaders of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and representatives of relevant organizations, for a working session and site visit at the project in Rang Dong Commune, Ninh Binh Province.
The delegation included Mr. Vu Duc Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS); Mr. Le Thanh Tam, Head of the Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority; and Mr. Doan Thanh Vu, Deputy Head of the Authority, together with representatives from its specialized departments.
Representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Office of the People’s Committee, local authorities and Mr. Le Minh Chi, General Director of AquaOne Water Corporation, also participated in the program.

Exchanging experience in specialized industrial park development
During the working session, Aurora IP presented an overview of the establishment, development orientation and investment model of Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park - Aurora IP, a specialized industrial park planned to support the textile value chain, including spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, finishing, garment manufacturing, accessories and supporting industries.
With a total planned area of 519.6 hectares, including approximately 322.41 hectares of industrial land, Aurora IP is focused on developing an eco-oriented textile industrial park model that addresses production capacity, technical infrastructure, and increasingly stringent environmental requirements.
Discussions focused particularly on industrial park planning, water infrastructure development, centralized wastewater treatment, environmental protection and the potential to develop an integrated specialized industrial ecosystem.
These factors are becoming increasingly significant for the textile and dyeing sector as environmental standards, traceability and sustainability requirements continue to play a greater role in global supply chains.
Aurora IP presents its specialized textile industrial park development model and exchanges views with the delegation on planning, technical infrastructure and environmental requirements for the textile and dyeing value chain.
Reviewing Aurora IP’s infrastructure on site
Following the working session, the delegation conducted a site visit to review Aurora IP’s technical infrastructure and production areas.
The delegation was introduced to the industrial park’s internal road network, power infrastructure, water supply system, wastewater collection and treatment facilities, completed infrastructure areas, as well as several investor projects currently under construction or in operation.
Given Aurora IP’s specialized focus on textile and dyeing industries, water supply and wastewater treatment are regarded not merely as supporting utilities, but as core infrastructure that directly underpins the industrial park’s development capacity.
Under the current plan, Aurora IP’s water supply system has a total planned capacity of 170,000 m3/day, while its wastewater treatment system is planned for a total capacity of 110,000 m3/day, with development implemented in phases in line with investor demand.
The delegation reviews Aurora IP’s technical infrastructure, including internal roads, water supply, wastewater collection and treatment systems designed to meet the specific requirements of textile and dyeing operations.
Water supply and wastewater treatment form a core part of Aurora IP’s specialized infrastructure, with planned capacities of 170,000 m3/day and 110,000 m3/day respectively.
Building an integrated textile industrial ecosystem
Another key topic shared during the program was Aurora IP’s ongoing development of an integrated business ecosystem.
The industrial park has attracted enterprises operating across multiple stages of the textile value chain, including spinning, weaving, dyeing, fabric finishing, denim, accessories and other products serving the garment industry.
The presence of large-scale FDI projects alongside companies adopting new technologies is progressively creating stronger opportunities for value-chain linkages within the industrial park.
This direction is aligned with the restructuring of global textile supply chains, where manufacturers are placing greater emphasis on material sourcing autonomy, shorter supply chains and compliance with ESG - Environmental, Social and Governance - standards.
The delegation visits production areas and investor projects at Aurora IP, where an increasingly integrated textile industrial ecosystem is being developed across multiple stages of the value chain.
Connecting practical experience towards sustainable industrial development
The site visit provided a platform for practical exchanges on the planning, investment and operation of industrial park infrastructure, particularly for industries with significant water and environmental requirements.
The participation of representatives from VITAS, the Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority, specialized government agencies and the water sector enabled the discussion to address the topic from multiple perspectives, including government administration, infrastructure development, environmental protection and the actual requirements of the textile industry.
