To mark the 30th anniversary of ASEAN-Korea partnership establishment, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in collaboration with Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) organized Exhibition and Conference of Investment Promotion in ASEAN countries (Invest ASEAN) in Busan, Korea on November 25th-26th 2019.
In this event, national exhibition hall of 10 ASEAN member countries was jointly organized by KOTRA and ASEAN members’ authorities in charge of investment. National exhibition compartments were designed and constructed, in reflection of national unique culture, to approach and attract Korean investors in various sectors such as technology, manufacturing, logistics, construction, trade and tourism. Vietnam national exhibition booth was designed and developed by Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam and KOTRA with highlights of Vietnam's strengths including favourable geographic location in the centre of ASEAN and Asia-Pacific region, populous labour force with competitive labour costs, rapidly growing and stable economy; the national exhibition booth had specific stands for sectors of high interest from Korean investors such as information technology, infrastructure development, processing – manufacturing, agricultural production and tourism. The national exhibition booth had an exclusive stand for introduction of industrial parks in Vietnam.

In recent years, promotion of industrial parks, industrial clusters and economic zones development has been considered one of the critical goals in national economic development. Invest ASEAN 2019 had received participants from many industrial parks namely VSIP, Tam Thang Industrial Park, Dinh Vu Industrial Zone, Thuan Thanh Industrial Zone, Thanh Liem Industrial Zone, Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park. Among the IZs and IPs in this exhibition, being one of a very few industrial parks oriented for textile and garment industry development, especially to attract investment in dyeing and weaving sector, Rang Dong Textile Industrial Park (Aurora IP) received special attention from HE Prime Minister, Vietnam delegation and investors from diverse nations.
