On 15th August 2023, The Management Board of Industrial Parks in northern Nam Dinh province has granted an investment license to Singapore’s SANBANG PTE. Ltd Company, specializes in manufacturing all kinds of towels, woven fabrics, DTY yarns.
The SANBANG PTE.LTD (Singapore) project is to be built at the Aurora Textile Industrial Park.
According to the investment registration certificate, the project of SANBANG PTE.LTD (Singapore) has a total land area of 103,400 sqm in Lot Q1, Q2, Q3 at the Aurora textile industrial park.
The investment capital reaches 673.5 billion VND (nearly $30 million USD). In there, the investor's capital is 86.8 billion VND, accounting for 12.8% of the total investment capital of the project.
According to the plan, the investor will focus on completing the relevant legal procedures, construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2024 and be completed in the third quarter of 2025, with operations to get underway from the fourth quarter of 2025.
The plant has a designed capacity of producing 15,000 tons of towels, 14 million meters of woven fabric, and 15,000 tons of DTY yarn each year.
On August 11, Nam Dinh province also organized the Signing Ceremony of Project Development Agreement between Dai Phong Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company and Sunrise Material Company (Singapore). According to the agreement, Sunrise Material Company will lease 60,131 sq m of land in lot CN1-2 and CN1-3 in My Thuan Industrial Zone of Dai Phong Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company to invest in polymer coasting plant of Sunrise Material Company (Vietnam).
The company expects to invest in building a food wrapping factory in 2024 with a total registered capital of $100 million USD. In there, the construction items include the main factory; workshop to cut and adjust products after production; the laboratory and testing area for materials and products; storehouses; office area; dormitory area.
On August 14, the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province also organized the Signing Ceremony of Project Development Agreement between Dai Phong Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company and Jiawei Corporation from Taiwan. According to the agreement between the two companies, Jiawei Corporation will invest in the My Thuan Industrial Zone with a construction area of 130,000 sq m to invest in the manufacturing plant.
The investment has the total capital of around $100 million USD across nearly 15 hectares, encompasses three projects, including an 8.5-hectare high-tech household appliance manufacturing plant with an $80 million USD investment, a 2.5-hectare support printing plant with a $10 million USD investment, and a 3.3-hectare paper box production plant with a $10 million USD investment.
